Thy need is greater than mine
I have always believed in the following saying, “Thy need is greater than mine.” This is precisely why I decided to volunteer for an NGO in Mumbai. This organisation is committed to educating each and every child in Mumbai. They sponsor the education of the under privileged and the less fortunate. I got to know about them on their website. I am glad I volunteered for them. I am glad I got the opportunity to serve the needy, to do my bit for the slum children. Private education is exorbitant. It comes at a huge price. Not every child is as fortunate as you and me. Not all of them come from affluent backgrounds like us. Not all of them can afford private education. Night schools can make a world of a difference to the lives of the downtrodden. They are committed to serving slum children- willingly, selflessly and graciously! I am grateful to God for blessing me with the opportunity of serving the needy. Educated individuals like you and me can really enlighten lives! We can help those learn who have the desire to learn!
